Tanadoona provides a beautiful natural setting for group rentals, retreats, field trips and weddings. Our 103-acre property located on Lake Minnewashta is bordered by Lake Minnewashta Regional Park, adding to the natural wildlife and outdoor experience. You’ll frequently see wildlife such as deer, turkeys, turtles and many birds like bald eagles, bluebirds, robins, woodpeckers and more! We’re conveniently located in the southwest Twin Cities metro, but guests instantly feel like they’re far from the city.

Each summer, we offer 12 weeks of camp, leaving Tanadoona available for outside groups to enjoy September through May. Whether you’re looking for a half-day meeting or a multi-day event, we can help you plan your upcoming event. Groups may rent specific facilities or areas of camp or exclusive use of the property.

All groups are welcome to our recreational activities, including basketball hoop, volleyball net, soccer goals, gaga ball pits, sports equipment and hiking trails. Camp Fire’s trained staff are also available to lead team-building and other activities for your group.
