*New for 2026: All campers and staff will wear life jackets at all times during water activities, including swimming. We will no longer be performing a swim check.
We have enough PFDs for everyone to use while at the waterfront, but if you want to send your camper with a personal one, then feel free to send it with your camper. Please make sure it is labelled as we cannot be responsible for any lost equipment.
Check-in & Check-out Procedures & Times
Please note: CITs will go home Friday afternoon and return to camp for their second week on Sunday afternoon.
⚠️Road Construction Alert
There will be road closures along Highway 41 through mid-summer 2026. Click here to view a map with alternate routes to camp.

Packing Lists
Wondering what to bring to camp? View packing lists here!
Important to note: Shoes will be required at our waterfront as we do have zebra mussels in our swimming area. Shoes can be sandals or closed-toe water shoes; they must have a solid sole. We work to keep the area as clear as possible, but cannot completely eliminate zebra mussels. They are very sharp, and we want to make sure campers have protected feet.
Complete Forms, Approve Waivers, and Pay Outstanding Balances
Log in to your Active Network account to complete the following items if you haven’t already:
If your camper takes medication, please bring a completed Request to Administer Medication at Camp form on the first day (blank forms will also be available at camp).
Deposit Money at the Camp Store
We use the app FunFangle for our camp store, which allows families to add camp store money to their camper’s account, see their camper’s balance, and even donate remaining funds to camp if desired.
The camp store will feature snacks ($1-3 each) and souvenirs like hats, hoodies, stuffed animals, water bottles, stickers, and more ($3-40 each). See the items we will have available here.
You should have received an invitation via email* to create a FunFangle account. If you’ve already created an account, you can log in to deposit money for the camp store here. If you have not yet created an account and can’t find your invitation email:
Create a Bunk1 Account for Bunk Notes
Set up your Bunk1 account to send “Bunk Notes.” Bunk Notes are digital letters that you can send to your camper(s), customized with photos, borders, puzzles, and more. Bunk Notes are available for purchase in your Bunk1 account. FAQs about these options are on our website: campfiremn.org/bunk1/.
Your Bunk1 invitation code is: 2026CAMPFIRE
If you already have a Bunk1 account, you can simply log in with your email and password.
Photos
Photos will be uploaded 2-3 times per week.
Be sure to download your favorite photos as the Google link will only be available through the end of the summer camp season.

Give the Gift of Camp
As one supporter put it – “Kids need joy.”
You see firsthand the impact access to nature and an inclusive community can have on campers. For many, camp can be a life-changing experience – and we need your help to make it possible for more kids. Please consider supporting our scholarship fund: campfiremn.org/donate/
