As we celebrate 100 years of sparking discovery, we are excited to share the vision of our immediate future. In the fall of 2023, we sought insight from our community on the trajectory ahead. Engaging stakeholders and conducting extensive youth surveys, we received an outpouring of responses from individuals deeply invested in our mission. 

From this collaborative effort, a wealth of data emerged, shedding light on our work’s current landscape and unveiling our community’s aspirations. Distilling this information, we identified four overarching themes: Co-Create Youth Experiences, Expand & Increase Community-Building, Nature & Environmental Sustainability, and Telling Our Story.

Eagerly anticipating the exciting journey ahead, we are thrilled to unveil our Strategic Plan for 2024 to 2026. This plan reflects our commitment to honoring the rich legacy of the past and our dedication to charting a course that aligns with the evolving needs and aspirations of our community with youth at the center.

We want to thank everyone who participated in our survey, Dr. Dana Ketcher for teaching and leading us in coding the data, Libby Rau for helping create strategic goals to execute this work, and our strategic planning committee comprised of staff and board members.
