Letter from the President & CEO
Hello!
In 2024, we celebrated 100 years of sparking discovery through friendship, the magic of nature, and welcoming all. This celebration was a testament to the collective efforts of our alumni, supporters, and families, who have been integral to Camp Fire’s mission. It was an honor to celebrate the unforgettable experiences that have shaped our alumni and youth. Throughout our 100 years, we have built connections with nature, fostered lasting relationships, and fueled positive social change.
A few highlights from the year include:
• We honored and shared 100 years of alum stories, showcasing the bright futures that Camp Fire programs have sparked in our alums.
• We welcomed back current and former campers through a weekend celebration! We hosted an overnight alum reunion, celebrated alongside current camp families at our Open House, and kicked-off our first-ever Trail Seekers!
• Our new series, Budding Experts, was created to share stories of how all our programs deepen young people’s connection and curiosity about nature.
• New board members were added to our talented team, bringing an infusion of fresh perspectives and leadership.
• Campers received our first-ever Summer Camp Yearbook, highlighting our summer of 2024 and keeping the camp magic alive through reflection prompts and photos of the summer!
These stories energize us for the future and are a gift to those who experience them. The magic of nature and community is all around us, and we are thankful to be growing alongside you!
As we look toward the next 100 years, we are excited about what is to come and have plans to support the growth of our programs. To stay connected on all Camp Fire Minnesota happenings, sign up for our newsletter!
Thank you for your support and dedication to Camp Fire’s mission. Your contributions have made a significant difference.
Sincerely,
Kori Redepenning

Our Programs
With nature as our catalyst, we energize youth to discover their spark so their futures glow brighter.
Afterschool Explorers
In partnership with Twin Cities metro schools, we focus on connecting young people who face barriers to accessing nature with engaging outdoor learning opportunities at their school, in their community, and on-site.
PreK-12 Environmental Education
Our hands-on, nature-based field trips, virtual lessons, and in-class visits tie directly to Minnesota State Education Standards or focus on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). The curriculum is designed around Camp Fire’s diverse ecosystem and customized to supplement in-class learning.
Summer & School Break Camps
Young people in our camp programs gain nature-based experiences that help them build confidence and leadership skills, develop new relationships, and connect with the outdoors.
