If your child participated in Camp Fire Minnesota’s Afterschool Explorers nature program during the 2025-2026 school year, they are invited to attend our Summer Camp at our property in Excelsior, MN. Our summer camp aims to deepen your child’s connection with nature through engaging activities and learning experiences in a beautiful outdoor setting.
We are committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent any child from participating, so we offer a sliding scale for camp registration fees, starting at $0. Additionally, we provide community transportation to and from the camp, making the experience more convenient for families.

Overnight Camp
Sunday–Friday (5 nights)
Campers stay in cabins with our trained staff and a group of their peers for five nights. They eat meals in the Dining Center and enjoy activities such as nature exploration, swimming, boating, archery, challenge courses, art, kayaking, all camp games, storytelling by the campfire, and more. Unplug from screens, learn new skills, build new friendships, and have fun! We recommend this option for campers who are comfortable spending five or more nights away from family.

Mini-Overnight Camp
Sunday–Wednesday (3 nights)
Mini-Overnight Camp is all of the great things Overnight Camp has to offer, just for fewer days. Campers stay in cabins for three nights and enjoy similar activities to Overnight Camp with their cabin groups. This is the perfect introduction to Camp for young people who are new to the experience.

Teen Week
Sunday–Friday (5 nights)
Break away from all the pressure of being a teen and just have fun! During Teen Week, we take everything that is amazing about Camp, make a few minor schedule tweaks, and create a teen-tailored experience. (Entering grades 8–12)
