Wedding Package includes

  • Exclusive use of the property and reserved buildings
  • Community & Dining Center featuring outdoor fireplace with patio and custom, locally-made outdoor furniture
  • Teaching Kitchen to use your preferred caterer
  • Commercial Kitchen to use with our exclusive caterer

  • Two portable power generators, as needed
  • Picnic tables for outdoor seating
  • Firewood for campfires (guests are responsible for monitoring campfires at all times and fully extinguish them)

Wedding Rental Information

  • Available September – May
  • Tours are available, please call to schedule
  • 10:00 p.m. city noise ordinance strictly enforced
  • Alcohol may be served, additional insurance coverage required
  • Final walk-through conducted at least one month before event; please bring  your wedding planner if applicable
  • Rental is confirmed once the following are received by Camp Fire: signed contract, certificate of insurance and 50% deposit
  • Please note that some staff live on the property year-round.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Camp Fire Minnesota provide for my rental?

We provide space and unique vibes! We will also provide tables and chairs in the community and dining center, outdoor patio furniture near the fireplace and benches in the Heart of Camp. All silverware, dishware, glasses, linens etc. will need to be provided by the couple. For further information on what is provided, please discuss it with our rentals team.  

Can we do activities such as swimming, archery or rock climbing during our wedding weekend?

Absolutely! These activities can be added as part of your rental with camp. Please let our team know as soon as possible if you are interested in these activities as they will require specialized staffing and support. Please understand that these activities are not guaranteed and are pending staffing availability and weather.  

What is the capacity of the Community and Dining Center (C&DC)?

The maximum capacity is 200 people per level. Please keep in mind that this number must include all guests, caterers, waitstaff etc.  Weddings with up to 130-150 guests feel the most comfortable seated in the C&DC dining room. Please keep in mind that depending on the guest count of your wedding, you might need to plan to move tables to create a dance floor. 

Can my guests stay overnight at camp during my wedding?

Absolutely! We allow rentals of our cabins onsite and would love to share more information with you on how we accommodate overnight wedding guests! Please keep in mind that most of our cabins do not have heat or electricity so depending on the timeframe of your wedding this might not be the most comfortable option!

I have friends or family members attending my wedding who have limited mobility. How accessible is Camp Fire Minnesota?

That is a great question! While Camp Fire Minnesota is a natural property, we are committed to ensuring everyone feels welcomed and included. Our Community and Dining Center is ADA compliant. While many of our paths are natural surfaces like gravel or grass, we encourage our rental clients to rent golf carts for guests with mobility challenges when hosting an event in our outdoor spaces. 

Can we set up event tents onsite?

Camp Fire Minnesota does allow event tents with prior approval from our rentals team. Our goals are to make sure that the tent size will fit and the way the tent is secured will not damage the area.  

What is the capacity of seating in the Heart of Camp for a ceremony?

Using the benches in a 360-degree seating style can accommodate around 200 people. Seating two-thirds around the circle can accommodate about 150 people.
