Tanadoona Overnight (Resident) Camps

Camp Tanadoona offers four progressive overnight camp experiences: Thursday Night Overnight, Mini-Resident Camp, Resident Camp, and Northwoods Adventure at Camp Bluewater. We also have a week just for teens!

Campers are grouped into cabins by age and spend most of the week in activities with their cabin mates. All campers come together for meals, swimming, and evening activities and campfires.

A packing list is at the bottom of this page. Click on the links below for even more information about Resident Camps.

Check-out: Wednesday 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.

Campers enjoy all that Resident Camp has to offer - a great option for campers with busy summer schedules or younger campers who are just starting out with overnight camp. Among the many great evening activities, nighttime brings a giant game of safari and always a campfire with epic campfire stories! Mini-Resident Camp may be a shorter week, but there’s no shortage of fun or friendships formed!

Resident Camp

Check-in: Sunday 3:00 p.m.

Check-out: Friday 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.

Closing Ceremony: Friday 4:00 p.m. (Families are encouraged to attend!)

Resident Camp is at the heart of Tanadoona. Sleep in a rustic cabin with your peers, listen to stories around a campfire, sing silly songs, meet new friends, carry on the 90-year-old
traditions of camp life – Polar Bears and Rock’n Robins – and, of course, help create some new ones!
Campers build confidence, begin lifelong friendships, and discover a new appreciation for the natural world through tons of fun activities with great counselors.
Make memories that you keep in your pocket for a lifetime, join us at Tanadoona Resident Camp!

Ages 7-16* | Cost: $450

*Teen Week (wk 7) is ages 12-17.

Teen Week - Resident Camp

Week 7: July 17-22, ages 12-17
More Freedom + More Fun: Teen Week is designed to be a little more chill than other weeks. That means staying up later or sleeping in a little later, camping out with your pals, canoeing to the public beach and so many other great activities! This year we’re introducing Mini-Arts for Teen Week campers! Spend the week performing a new trade or bring one you’re already passionate about - working on a project like painting, theatre, outdoor
drumming, filmmaking, nomadic cooking or join the disco committee!

Northwoods Adventure Trip

Campers explore the great Northwoods on a guided canoeing and camping trip. Learn more about Northwoods Adventure Trips here.
