Tanadoona Day and Specialty Camps

Tanadoona Day Camp is the perfect place for children to spend their summer! With easy pick-up and drop-off Tanadoona day camp is convenient for parents and kids. Not to mention all the seriously silly good times ahead. Don’t delay, come on out and play this summer!

Specialty Day Camps are perfect to enjoy and build skills in your camper's favorite activities. All specialty campers spend at least two hours each day in their specialty area and have the rest of the day to participate in many of our other camp favorites! Specialty Day

Check-in: 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. Monday - Friday

Pick-up: 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. Monday - Friday

(Closing ceremony begins at 4:10 p.m. on Friday. We encourage families to attend!)

Day Camp Extras:

Register for these prior to arriving to avoid lines on the first day. Families who have already registered can add these by emailing or call 612-235-7284. Please regiseter for extras at least a week in advance.

Before & After Care ($40/week)

Extends program time to 7:00am-6:00pm


Thursday Overnight ($45) Limited Availablity; Register Early

A great way to introduce your camper to sleeping over at camp. Campers enjoy fun evening events, carmpfire, s'mores and all-camp night games with resident campers. Thursday’s dinner, and Friday’s breakfast and lunch are included.


Lunch ($35/week)

We offer lunch to Day Campers every day. Each lunch includes a main meal item, side, salad bar (including pasta salads, lettuces, vegetables, and sunbutter & jelly and bread), and milk.

Vegetarian meals available upon request, please contact us with other dietary concerns (and list on your camper's health form).
Purchase both Lunch and Thursday Night Overnight for a discounted rate!



Packing for Day Camp

Please clearly label your camper's items.

[ ] Swimsuit and towel each day

[ ] Weather appropriate clothes (i.e. sweatshirt, rain gear)

[ ] Extra set of clothes each day

[ ] Appropriate Footwear (i.e. athletic shoes or heavy duty sandles; flip flops are not suitable camp footwear) Closed-toe shoes are required for Adventure activities

[ ] Non-perishable lunch (unless registered for Camp lunch.) Please write camper’s name on the outside of lunch container

[ ] Snacks (if desired): afternoon snack is provided. Please pack extra if your camper may need more.
[ ] Insect repellent (lotion or stick - please avoid aerosols)
[ ] Sunscreen (please avoid aerosols)
[ ] Camera (if desired)
[ ] Water bottle

Packing for Thursday Overnight

[ ] Pajamas

[ ] Jacket or Sweatshirt

[ ] Complete change of clothes
[ ] Sleeping bag and Pillow
