Tanadoona Day and Specialty Camps

Tanadoona Day Camp is the perfect place for children to spend their summer! With easy pick-up and drop-off Tanadoona day camp is convenient for parents and kids. Not to mention all the seriously silly good times ahead. Don’t delay, come on out and play this summer!


Specialty Day Camps are perfect to enjoy and build skills in your camper's favorite activities. All specialty campers spend at least two hours each day in their specialty area and have the rest of the day to participate in many of our other camp favorites! Specialty Day

Check-in: 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. Monday - Friday

Check-out: 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. Monday - Friday

Closing Ceremony: 4:15 p.m. Friday (Families are encouraged to attend!)

 

 

Additional Day Camp Information:

Food allergies: For the safety of our campers, do not send lunches or snacks that contain peanuts with your camper. Thank you!

Waitlist:

If the camp session you are interested is full, you may add your name to our waitlist through the online registration system. When space becomes available we will contact you by phone and email. We review session capacity daily and will notify families as soon as possible. While we cannot predict openings, we are happy to talk with you about your position on the waitlist. We fill sessions based on the earliest date of joining the waitlist.

 

Day Camp Extras:

Register in advance during online registration or contact us by email [email protected] or phone 612-235-7284. Please register for extras at least a week in advance.

Before & After Care ($40/week)

Extends program time to 7:00am-6:00pm

 

Thursday Overnight ($45)

Limited Availability; Please contact Rosie Mahoney at (612) 284-8261 if you're intersted in adding Thursday Overnight - these fill quickly.

A great way to introduce your camper to sleeping over at camp. Campers enjoy all the nighttime fun of camp, such as campfire, s'mores and all-camp night games with resident campers. Thursday’s dinner, and Friday’s breakfast and lunch are included.

 

Lunch ($30/week)

Enjoy our great lunch! Lunch includes a main meal item, side, salad bar (including pasta salads, lettuces, vegetables, and sunbutter, jelly and bread), and milk.

 

Dietary Restrictions

Pork-free and vegetarian options are available at each meal when listed on your camper's Health Form. Please indicate items your vegetarian does eat (i.e. fish, eggs, dairy).

 

We try our best to accommodate special diets including food allergies and gluten-sensitive. We are unable to accommodate Celiac Disease.

 

All dietary restrictions must be listed on camper's Health Form. Contact us with any questions regarding your campers dietary needs.

Packing List -Day Camp

Please clearly label your camper's items.

[ ] Weather appropriate clothes (i.e. sweatshirt, rain gear)

[ ] Extra set of clothes each day

[ ] Appropriate Footwear (i.e. athletic shoes or heavy duty sandals; flip flops are not suitable camp footwear) Closed-toe shoes are required for Adventure activities

[ ] Lunch, non-perishable and peanut-free (unless registered for Camp lunch.) Please write camper’s name on the outside of lunch container.

[ ] Snacks (if desired): afternoon snack is provided. (peanut-free snacks only)
[ ] Insect repellent (lotion or stick - please avoid aerosols)
[ ] Sunscreen (please avoid aerosols)
